Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained a lot of fame. As a California born, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. However, she later chose to pursue a career in acting. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2010 in the episode of CBS's NCIS. Her big-screen debut occurred a year later with the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. In subsequent years, she firmly established herself among the top performers of the day. In 2011, she won a nomination for the Young Artist Award, Best performance by a Young Actress in a Television Series due to her performance in the show "NCIS". The actress was also nominated 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' it". Calvano was a key character in "Mom" which was the show's in its first three seasons and also made numerous appearances during Season 4. In 2015, she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her role in Mom.
